Bobit Business Media Launches MyPeer, a Professional Social Network Connecting Peer Communities
TORRANCE, Calif. — October 26, 2026 — Bobit Business Media, Inc. (BBM) today announced the launch of MyPeer, a free professional network where peers connect, share knowledge and solve the challenges they face every day. MyPeer is available now on the web, the Apple App Store and Google Play.

MyPeer is built around one question: does this help a member make a better decision? Members come to learn from peers who understand the realities of their work, from fleet managers, drivers and dispatchers, repair technicians and business owners, so they don't have to make critical decisions alone.
"Our business has always been built on human-led journalism and real conversations at industry events," said Colin Sutherland, CEO of Bobit Business Media. "Professionals in every industry we serve told us they want a place to talk with peers without wading through sales pitches and AI slop. MyPeer is our answer. Every discussion should help a member make a better decision or connect within their community. If it doesn't, it doesn't belong here."
Built for Members, Driven by Members
MyPeer is designed around a simple principle: the community belongs to its members. BBM provides the platform, sets the Community Guidelines and helps facilitate connections. The conversations, knowledge and relationships come from the professionals who take part.
Membership is free. Members can ask questions, exchange practical advice and learn from others who have faced the same challenges, whether they are evaluating new technology, navigating regulations, managing a team or looking for a second opinion on a business decision.
Regular programming gives members easy ways to take part, including daily polls, a weekly discussion starter, a weekly Give & Ask thread, Member Spotlights and monthly themes such as Ask Me Anything and Wins, Fails & Lessons Learned. Members also earn milestones and badges that recognize helping others, sharing knowledge and building connections.
Creating that sense of community is central to Shea Green's role as Community Manager at BBM. Her focus is making MyPeer a place where members feel comfortable participating, whether they are asking their first question or sharing decades of experience.
"Every professional has a question they've been sitting on, and MyPeer puts them in a room full of people who have been there," said Green. "My job is to make that room feel welcoming."
Expertise Welcome, Sales Pitches Are Not
MyPeer welcomes technology providers, suppliers and consultants as Community Partners, invited for the expertise they bring rather than the products they sell. Partners are encouraged to answer questions publicly, share best practices and take part in discussions as subject matter experts.
Unsolicited sales outreach, prospecting and promotional posting are not permitted. The MyPeer team actively moderates the community, and members can flag concerns with built-in Report Post and Report Person tools. The expectation for every partner is simple: teach first, help first, contribute first.
Open to Associations and Industry Groups
At launch, MyPeer connects members with trusted industry journalism from BBM's editorial network alongside the experience of members themselves. MyPeer is also open to the associations, nonprofits, user groups and professional networks that already bring professionals together.
These organizations can request dedicated community spaces within MyPeer, giving their members a place to connect and collaborate without the cost and complexity of building and maintaining a separate digital platform. For groups that rely on email lists, spreadsheets or disconnected tools, MyPeer brings their community together on an established web and mobile platform.
"A lot of great associations and business communities run on spreadsheets, email lists and goodwill," said Zainub Sareea, EVP of Product and Platform at BBM. "Bring your members, and we'll support the tech stack."
Rather than creating another isolated network, BBM aims to give existing professional communities a shared technology foundation that helps them grow, engage their members and strengthen industry connections.
Join the MyPeer Community
MyPeer is free to join and open to professionals across every industry BBM serves. Visit www.mypeer.com to join, or download the MyPeer app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Members can invite colleagues and peers directly from the app.
Associations, nonprofits and professional organizations interested in a dedicated community space can contact Shea Green at Community@MyPeer.com.
